hey guys. great show. Russ you are an incredible guitar player. Scott you are an amazing drummer and better than many drummers such as (john bonham). Jarrod your voice is exactly like geddy in his early days. you guys are awesome. i see that you playing with the punks in feb 2005. i cant wait to go. I think you guys should add xanadu and one little victory to your setlist. maybe even add somestuff from the counterparts album. that album rules. cant wait to see you guys . Keep rockin. dan

The sound was sooo clean! Did something change? Were mic positions enhanced? Anyway, once again, thank you for respecting the music and being so brilliant.

A great set , singer/bass player was probably the closest a peson can get to sounding like Geddy Lee ,however at times the bass drowned out the guitar player. and at times the guitar player sounded very raw, especially on "Tom Sawyer" For the most part they sounded really good ,but need to ditch the song "Distant early warning" the guitars were way off and I had a hard time listening to it. The Drummer was really good, but he's no Neil Peart, but then,......who is? I don't want anyone to think that the guitar player was bad ,I was just giving constuctive criticism.....overall a very good guitar player.

Caught the boys act at Rockfest 2002 here in Hawaii and although pushed to finish in 30 mins and although they weren't provided with a stand for the keyboards (a quickly rounded up table did the job) and although the sampler was MIA and although Scott had to play on a rented drum kit... you know what? These guys still Freekin Rocked! Truely professional musicians paying the ultimate tribute to a band that is also extremely talented and professional

Hey guys, enjoyed the show! The mix was a little funky out front (IMO, too much bass, not enough guitar, but hey I'm a guitarist! The drums sounded HUGE..we were all doing air-drum fills). Hard to believe that was the first gig with that guitar player..tough gig to walk into, but he did a GREAT job..very true to Lifeson in terms of playing 'attitude' and use of effects..very authentic! You guys did a great job with the song selection too, covering a lot of ground (but what happened to Aimee Mann..she pulled a Dale Bozzio and became a missing person..missing voice anyway!). Thanks for a great night, and see ya at the HOB!

When I heard that a RUSH tribute band was coming, i was very skeptical. But when Moving Pictures came on stage and I noticed Russ and Scott from the punks, I knew I was in for a night of first class RUSH. I've seen the punks 4 or 5 times and have allwys been impressed by the level of profissionalism all 4 members bring to the shows, so I knew thas Russ and Scott wouldnt let me down! And then this dude with a wig on starts playing the into to Spirit of Radio on bass and playing the keyboards with his feet and I was really blown away! I knew that the drums and guitar would be good but the 'Geddy" guy would have to be excellent to pull this off and he was. He even sings like Geddy Lee! I was very impressed with him. The show was F'n awsome!! Great set list too. I want them to come back to Las Vegas soon!! One highlight from the show- in the first bar of The Trees gutar solo, Russ breaks his A string. Like a true professional he finished the solo and the song without missing a freakin note!?!? What a guitar player. Keep on Rushin' guys and come back to VEGAS!!!!

From a first time attendee: Great show! You guys sounded almost as tight as the real thing, and certainly a lot better than many of the bands on those "tribute" CDs. Your playing was excellent, and your singer a spot-on Geddy soundalike. I'm sure I'll be checking you out again. PS. Never thought I'd hear Signals refered to as "one of the new albums" :)

The Moving Pictures band opened for the Atomic Punks this night at the Cajun House in Tempe, Az. and sounded wonderful. Scott played the drums great as always, and the instrumentation, vocals, and Russ' guitar playing sounded A+ as well. I look forward to seeing them again soon! I'm a big fan!

Just stumbled onto Moving Pictures when they were playing with Sticky Fingers at 14 Below in Santa Monica several months ago. WHAT A GREAT SHOW!!!! With Russ shredding on the guitar, Jarrod (I mean Geddy) on the bass/vocals, and Scott nearly replacing the "unreplaceable" Neil Peart, the show was awesome. If you're a Rush fan, DON'T MISS THESE GUYS!!!
